Courtly Dances
Experience classical Javanese dance at the Soerya Soemirat Dance Workshop, located at the Prangwedanan Hall of Mangkunegara Palace in Solo. Founded by GPH Herwasto Kusumo in 1982, this dance studio teaches adults and children traditional Solonese and courtly Pura Mangkunegaran dances. On Wednesday mornings, from 9.30 am until midday, there are rehearsals that are open for visitors to attend.
About the Destination
